Lots have ocean view and start at $40,000 for a half acre parcel with water. Mexican building contractors are locally available. A nice two-story 1,500 sq. ft. house runs in the neighborhood of 100k. Individual homes use solar power for lights and refrigeration, liquid petroleum for stoves and hot water. Water is supplied by two wells that are licensed by the Mexican government water commission. It is pumped by generator, stored in water tanks and delivered to each lot by an underground system of pipes. The licensed wells are capable of producing more than the maximum usage of the existing and proposed residences. Phase III has an average of one single family home per 5,500 square meters within the 390,000 square meter sub-division. Each lot is limited to single family residential homes. Phase III is adjacent to the Cabo Pulmo Marine Park. Extra care has been taken concerning the regulation of density, water runoff, individual black water treatment systems, cutting of plants and trees, the disposal of rubbish and other possible ecology threatening actions.
