About Us

Pancho-Captain

PanchoHola, soy Pancho.  When I got the chance to learn this profession I never thought I would love it so much.  I love to share the different experiences that my passengers share with me on each and every dive and snorkel trip.  It's very satisfying knowing that they leave happy and wanting to return.  Personally, I am the pitcher on a minor league baseball team.  I also play futbol regularly, and love to spend time with my wife & kids.

I really enjoy the ocean.  This is why I love being a Captain for Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort.  Seeing the smiles and excitement on my passengers faces after they ascend from a dive or return from a snorkel trip makes me happy.  I  enjoy working in harmony and helping out wherever I can.  But more than anything I enjoy my life with my 8 month old son Lionel.

cabo pulmo employeeI´m mexican and proud to be! I’m from Cuernavaca where I started diving in rivers and springs when I was fourteen. I come from a family of divers, so the underwater world has never been foreign to me. I live my life around diving and I hope to keep it that way.  I have an immense respect for marine life and enjoy participating in green activities. I love teaching and I´m always happy to introduce people to the underwater world. I love that diving in Cabo Pulmo I can find nudibranchs, the beautiful sharks, my favorite fish the Mexican Hogfish, and of course humpback  whales.

I´ve dived and worked in Australia, Honduras, Mexico and did Belize for fun! !

Because one can´t live thinking on diving alone, I´m also a fire dancer and Graphic Designer.

Tibo-Dive Instructor

Tibo | Cabo Pulmo

I’m Thibault and I’m an instructor here at Cabo Pulmo. I love diving here because conditions and marine life change year round, making every dive different and exciting! I arrived here after quite a few years of traveling and diving in Europe, Asia, and Central America. Cabo Pulmo lived up to its reputation as an excellent diving location; I was instantly hooked. Places like this reaffirm my decision to leave   aeronautics, consulting, and NGOs logistics behind to lead the life of a scuba instructor.     Now I get my kicks taking pictures, seeing sharks, and going DEEP! And If I’m not diving you will probably find me eating cheese while watching some artsy French movies ...

Toño - Dive Center Manager

Antonio Romero

I'm Mexican, from Puebla - I know there is no ocean there, but my dad took me diving at the age of 8, now I'm hooked!  You could say that my career choice is all my dads fault since he introduced me to diving.  But, I wouldn't have it anyother way!  I can not think of anything else but DIVING!!  I love guiding and teaching too.  I've been diving for the last 7 years in different places like, Playa Del Carmen, Huatulco, Bahamas, and Honduras. Now I found a great place to live and work... CABO PULMO!  It is actually my second time around and I'm loving it.  Hope to see you guys here soon to go blow some bubbles :)

Karla - Public Relations

Cabo Diving

My name is Karla Gonzales and I have lived in Cabo for over 15 years.  It is a place to call home because of the extraordinary weather, natural surroundings and friendly people.  My early job carreer was in Sales, Public Relations and Marketing for five star resorts in Los Cabos. Now I am glad to have the opportunity to show others the beauty of the natural life we have in Cabo Pulmo and set the problems aside. We just live once, lets enjoy the ride!

Pachi-Mechanic

My name is Pachi.  I am the mechanic for Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort.  I’m the guy responsible for making sure all of our vehicles, generators and boat motors stay purring.  I enjoy racing dune buggies with my brother and being on the pit crew for the famous Baja 500 & 1000.  My family has been in the East Cape for generations.  We own auto parts stores and junkyards – we always can find those hard to get parts.

Rob - Divemaster

In Nov 2012, driven by a seemingly unquenchable thirst for adventure, I left my life long home of Hailey, ID and headed  for the southern tip of Baja California. It was in Cabo Pulmo that this wayward mountain boy fell in love with the sea, and subsequently;  SCUBA diving. After this realization, it   wasn´t long before I worked my way up through the diving ranks to the level of Dive Master. Now I´m stoked to share my passion for the sport and the area with anyone who wants to check out this beautiful corner of the planet.
